Canadian Brass Book of Intermediate Trumpet Solos: Trumpet and Piano with a CD of performances and accompaniments [Paperback] Review

When I saw this book comming from Canadian Brass, I immediately had high expectations.I was not dissapointed.

There are some beautiful pieces in it:Lydia, Rondeau, Arietta, Gypsy Song, Serenade, The Brook among others (12 total).Though geared towards intermediate players, the book goes progressively from a general intermediate level to some advanced pieces (which is a plus).

The accompaniment on CD is beautifully done.The CD contains both full recordings including trumpet, and separate backing tracks.

It is an excellent package and I am most staisfied with this purchase.I hope you find it the same.
