There is a decent 9-page interview with Perry, with the interviewer tossing out names of the songs in the book, and Steve giving his memories/impressions/recollections of them, most of which won't be any surprise to Journey/Perry fans who saw the "Behind the Music" thing on VH-1.
The song mix is both Journey and Perry's solo work, including "When You Love a Woman", "You Better Wait", "Missing You", "Oh Sherrie" and "Melody", and also includes Steve's duets with David Pack ("Brand New Start") and Kenny Loggins ("Don't Fight It"), so if you do songbooks for the actual music, then this is a good one to pick up.
The overall feel of this collection & the interview is that of an artist who's living too much in the past & banking too much on past glories. Perry needs to get off his butt & put something new out, instead of constantly re-issuing the old stuff.
