Mark Nevin / Piano Course / Preparatory Book [Mass Market Paperback] Review

I started piano lessons three and a half months ago.I'm an adult and luckily acquired this book.It was printed in the sixties.My piano teacher really likes _the selection_ of music.So do I.I also like _the instruction._I'm currently learning two pieces from the book.My big question is . . . Where is Book Four?I can't get more complimentary than that.

Schaum Note Speller / Book 2 (Revised) (Schaum Method Supplement) [Paperback] Review

I bought this to help me learn the notes for learning how to play piano. Mom recommended it. (she taught piano lessons when I was a baby 30 years ago)

She said it is a classic, and although it is kind of boring, this is what's needed to learn the notes so that I can ultimately read music and play Mozart. It seems to be working.

I leave it in the bathroom with a pencil, and work on it for those few minutes when there's nothing else to do with my mind. ;)

I don't why anyone has'nt written a review for this book yet. Its perfect, and the accompanying CD is so helpful to help learn the rhythms of progressive rock keyboard. I would greatly recommend this book if you are sick of playing yankee doodle or any other book with boring sheet music. Contained in the book is an adequate description of the genre and presents perfect examples that you can learn. I found this book very satisfying and not too hard. I also have the rock keyboard and find that one great as well. So do buy these books.
