I bought this book for my husband - a classic country music lover and a guitar "picker".He was spent hours enjoying this book.I have anjoyed listening to him develop new skills and being serenaded.If you love classic country - you should buy this one.The chords are not for the stark beginner, but are still simple enough for those that are not highly accomplished.I love that it shows as well as names the chords, so if you don't know that chord you can easily figure it out.

The Hoagy Carmichael Centennial Collection [Paperback] Review

I did finally get my copy of the Hoagy Carmichael. [The first one was missent to a drug dealer on the next street over called Big Louie--no I'm not lying!].I LOVE the book and highly recommend it to anyone who likes good music.

I am a big fan of Shania Twain and over the years I have purchased all her CD's, books, etc...This is a fantastic book that accompanies the CD.All the songs on the CD are in this book, with chord diagrams to follow along. It's easy to follow and learn the songs.The music is great and I have recommended many students to buying it.Great pictures of Shania in the book as well. All her CD's and accompanying books are the same, well put together, and ALL the songs are in there!

Hank Williams Complete (Piano/Vocal/Guitar Artist Songbook) [Paperback] Review

This is a very impressive collection of practically everything written by Hank Williams, and exactly what I needed (with chord diagrams). My only complaint is that there are Hank classics not written by him that are not included in this anthology; such as, "Lovesick Blues", "Settin' The Woods on Fire", and "Half As Much". It also doesn't include Hank's "(I Heard That) Lonesome Whistle". But it seems EVERYTHING else is here - and it's wonderful this music book was released! (Five Stars if the mentioned songs were included!)
