The ISBN 0793545005 for this songbook is shared by the 1st edition and the 2nd edition.Each edition has great songs some similar and some different in each edition. The music notation is Easy Piano. I really like the large notation. It's better to follow than the regular sheet music. In my opinion you should have a good grasp on Adult level 1 to play through these pieces with ease.

This book is awesome. It has most of my favorite Coldplay songs in it, and although I'm a beginner, I was able to play a couple of the songs fairly easily. I love it.

Buddy Holly - Golden Anniversary Songbook (Piano/Vocal/Guitar Artist Songbook) [Paperback] Review

I absolutely revere Buddy Holly. this book, however, fell short. I was a little disappointed with the tablatures. The songs are not transcribed in keys Holly used. If this was done to make the songs easier to play, aretranscription might be understandable. However, fairly simple songs areactually made somewhat difficult. An example is Peggy Sue. The songconsists of a total of four chords in the key of E. Here, it is in the keyof G and somehow there are five chords including two 7ths. Peggy Sue, asplayed by Holly has no 7ths. Not Fade Away is also a bit convoluted andtranscribed in a more difficult key of E flat rather than the original (andeasier to play) key of E. I was hoping to learn some other Holly songs butI can only pick out a couple from this book since the transcription is soconvoluted. Having said all this, I enjoyed the photos and backgroundmaterial.

The Easy Piano Christmas Collection [Paperback] Review

There are many easy piano Christmas/holiday books out there today...but none are as good as this one. Why, you ask? Well, for one, there is the name Bill Boyd. If you are not familiar with this name, shame on you. Mr. Boyd does amazing things with very few notes. His easy piano arrangements are some of the most full, complex sounding arrangements around. The other reason why this book is a must have, the hlidays come once a year, I only play about, oh, once a year. So, even though I can read fairly well, I just do not practice like I should (now shame on me) and the easy piano arrangements are perfect for people like me.

Get it and have a great holiday!

This is a great intermediate piano/vocal/guitar book.There's a good selection of songs and they are playable as solos or accompaniments.The book can be a little hard to keep open since the binding isn't sectioned, but other than that, I was happy with it.

Dan Coates Easy Piano Collection (Pop, Country, Movie" [Paperback] Review

As far as the content, I love this book.I love Dan Coates arrangements.My mom has one of his older books with many of the same songs but it has a spiral binding.My only complaint is that it's hard to get this book to stay open.

I think that the other reviewer was reviewing the wrong book. This book is a book of collections of music sheets that appear in ever popular "ABBA Gold" CD. Considering that all the other individual music sheets are not available, this book is the only source of ABBA songs for the people who wants to play them. This book contains the music sheet quality of scores - piano and chords, as well as lyrics. Not a "easy" version. A true ABBA lover should definitely check this out !
There is another one which is titles as "Great Songs of ABBA", which contains almost all songs of ABBA. Unfortunately, the book is hard to get these days.
